ID Screen® MVV / CAEV Indirect

Indirect ELISA kit for the detection of anti-Maedi Visna Virus (MVV) and anti-CAEV antibodies in ovine and caprine serum.

The use of a mix of peptide antigens results in superior test performance (sensitivity, specificity, and differentiation between positive and negative results).

  • Reliable and accurate : clearly separates positive and negative results, with high sensitivity and specificity
  • No non-specific reactions due to BTV-vaccination, thanks to the use of peptide antigens. Other ELISAs based on recombinant or purified viral antigens have given nonspecific reactions in BTV-vaccinated populations (1)
  • Easy-to-use, with results in 90 minutes
