ID Screen® IBR gE Competition

Competitive ELISA for the detection of antibodies against the gE protein of the BHV-1 virus in bovine serum, plasma and milk (individual, bulk or condensed milk samples).

Detects naturally-infected animals in a vaccinated population provided that animals are vaccinated with BHV-1 gE-deleted vaccines.

  • May be used as a DIVA test (Differentiation of Infected and Vaccinated Animals)
  • Calibrated to detect the French SRF2 standard serum
  • Practical: you can easily check that all samples have been correctly deposited because the dilution buffer changes colour upon addition of the sera
