Real-time RT-PCR for the qualitative detection of a target sequence in the Chlamydophila spp genome
This qualitative duplex test simultaneously amplifies a target sequence in the Chlamydophila spp genome, and an endogenous internal control.
It may be used to test swab supernatant (placental, cervical, vaginal) or organ homogenate samples.
