Toxoplasmosis is an infectious disease caused by the protozoan parasite Toxoplasma gondii. The parasite infects wild and domestic animals including birds, cats, sheep, goats, cattle, pigs and poultry. Infection in sheep in early pregnancy invariably results in foetal death. IDvet proposes the ID Screen® Toxoplasmosis Indirect ELISA for the detection of anti-T. gondii antibodies in ruminant and swine sera. |
