The West Nile virus (WNV), which causes encephalitis in infected humans and horses, is maintained in nature by a mosquito vector and bird reservoir host. Given the need for a WNV serological test for multiple species, ID VET has developed the ID ScreenŽ West Nile Competition ELISA kit. This test allows for the detection of anti-E antibodies in equine and avian sera. |
