Trichinellosis is a zoonosis that is most often due to the nematode Trichinella spiralis. The ID Screen® Trichinella Indirect ELISA kit, based on the use of the antigen excretory/secretory (E/S), allows for the detection of antibodies direted against Trichinella (spiralis, psuedo-spiralis, britovi and nativa) in horse, pig and wild boar sera and in meat juices.
